401(k) Plan
Prairie Engineers provides a 401(k) plan for employee retirement and contributes 3% of each employee's salary regardless of employee contribution. Additional contributions can be made by employees through tax deferred payroll deductions. This plan offers flexibility in investment choices with a variety of funds. Enrollment is automatic for eligible employees after twelve months of employment.
Medical Insurance
Health insurance coverage is offered for employees through a group health insurance plan and is coupled with an employer funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).

Professional and Technical Development
Prairie Engineers strongly encourages the professional development, technical education, and professional licensing and registration of our employees. We will pay for enrollment fees, travel expenses, and allow employees paid time off to attend eligible professional and technical classes, continuing education classes, and licensing exams.
Paid Time Off
Eligible employees accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) commensurate with their length of service, starting at 160 PTO hours annually. PTO can be used for vacations, sickness, or personal leave.
Paid Holidays
We offer eight paid holidays (New Year's Day, Lincoln's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day).
