Eric joined Prairie Engineers in 2020 as a Structural Engineer. He graduated with his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and MS in Structural Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is an experienced Project Manager and a licensed Structural Engineer and Professional Engineer with experience in the inspection and design of buildings, bridges, and waterfront structures.
His experience includes structural investigations (above and below water), seismic evaluations, and design of repairs, renovations, and new construction of buildings, bridges, towers, and waterfront structures. He has managed multi-disciplinary port, waterfront, building, and bridge design and inspection projects. Eric is proficient in the condition assessment, analysis, design, and detailing of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures. His experience ranges from industrial, administrative, training, storage, barracks, transportation, and maintenance facilities to piers, bulkheads, and marinas. He has prepared assessment reports, feasibility studies, construction plan sets, construction specifications, and cost estimates. He is experienced with building code requirements and specifications related to the repair, renovation and design of new structures.
Eric and his wife live in the Peoria, IL area with their two sons. Eric enjoys running, watching football, traveling, and spending time with family.
