Prairie Engineers provided topographical surveys to support the redevelopment of the former Northwestern Steel and Wire Plant in Sterling, Illinois. The site included 17 acres of developed industrial property along with adjacent roadway rights-of-way. Along with buildings, pavements, and site improvements, this survey included the development of utility and sewer line locations, the development of surface models for the site, and the remote location of piers under an elevated slab along the Rock River.
